A proposed renovation to an existing 8 unit condominium overlooking the Ohio River.

New Entry
The entry is composed of a stainless steel and glass entry pavilion, a new mail area, and direct access to the lower level without going up and down stairs. New stone flooring, as well as a new elevator cab and rear facing elevator door establish the new ground floor entrance as the main public entry.

Courtyard
The parking area is paved with patterned concrete with stone borders, as well as trees and groundcover. This turns the previously utilitarian parking area into a space that has the character of a courtyard entry.

Sunrooms
The existing South facing façade is enhanced by the addition of glass clad sunrooms that extend the living space to capitalize on the spectacular views of the Ohio River. Energy efficient low E glazing and perforated stainless steel sun shading will be integrated into the existing balcony and new sunroom.

Bonus Rooms
Each unit benefits from an additional “bonus” room and balcony, located on the northeast and northwest corners of the building, all with river views. The additions upgrade the character of the north façade while capitalizing on the river views.
